Hit those targets and that's me having a good year. No mention of a Lambo or move to Dubai required. Move to client management role and not on the tools.Ĥ simple goals that if I hit them, that's me winning at life. Your business plan does not need to be some fancy 30 page document that you did for the bank that no one error.Īs I like to practice what I preach here is my BP for next 12 months. This short video explains how we do this, (pushed the boat out on this one with posh Geordie voice over). We also provide some external accountability/ second voice in a conversation to keep you on track whenever things cut up rough. My answer was simple, we build an understanding of what you want from the business, then put some steps/action plan in place to help you get there. And if not, I plan to have some fun along the way regardless 🤷🏼♀️😁Ī new referral to us asked me how do we get such good results for our clients. I've been experiencing the same dread and fear I did about filming all those years ago, but I've learnt sometimes the things that scare us most can create the greatest rewards. Today I recorded the first episode of the Mindset Matters podcast (and now I've just said that in public, so I have to finish the series 😬). I don't get nervous about filming courses anymore, but I still get very nervous about trying new things. So, as I came full circle re-filming the course last week, minus imposter syndrome and anxiety, I reflected on how things have changed with experience. I've learnt we have to give things a go, even if we think we'll never achieve our goals. Whenever I feel anxious about doing something new, I remind myself how much of a mess I felt filming that course five years ago and how well it actually turned out. Over 1.5 million people have taken it today. It feels like yesterday I boarded that plane to California, totally broke (I couldn't even afford a coffee at the airport 😬), full of anxiety about being pregnant and fear that I wouldn't be any good on camera.ĭespite feeling like I was doing a terrible job filming (hello imposter), the course became one of the most viewed Linkedin Learning courses. Full of imposter syndrome, intimidated by how impressive the studio is in Carpinteria, and also ten weeks pregnant with my first baby (and throwing up between takes). The original was my first course with LinkedIn Learning, and I was like a deer in headlights.

It was fun to update the course, but I'm sad that I'll have to say goodbye to the original it's been an emotional process for me. I was re-filming my emotional intelligence course, which was initially launched five years ago. This was a bittersweet filming experience.

This time last week, I was filming a course for LinkedIn Learning (look how glam our set was… 😂).
